A security assessment that supports a specific decision

Canada Create™ provides cyber security audits and risk assessments for Toronto organizations that need to understand their current controls before approving investment, responding to a buyer or planning remediation. The engagement begins with the decision the report must support and the systems that matter to it.

The service is an evidence-based advisory assessment. It is not a SOC 2 examination, ISO certification or a guarantee that an insurer or customer will accept the result. If a requesting organization requires an independent attestation, a prescribed assessor or a specific report format, establish that requirement before commissioning the work. Any existing implementation role or potential conflict should be disclosed at scoping.

Choose the boundary and assessment method

Discovery records the entities, locations, cloud tenants, applications, critical processes and third parties in scope. It also records exclusions, permitted checks, the evidence period and who can authorize access. A focused SaaS production review and a multi-entity insurance-group assessment should not be sold as the same checklist.

Where appropriate, the review can use NIST CSF 2.0 outcomes or another agreed control reference. NIST’s organizational-profile guidance distinguishes current and target cybersecurity outcomes. A mapped assessment helps discuss priorities; it does not confer a NIST certification. Legal and contractual requirements must be identified with the relevant owners rather than inferred from an industry label.

Control areas available for the agreed scope

Identity, endpoints and collaboration

Review account ownership, privileged access, multi-factor authentication, joiner and leaver processes, endpoint coverage, patching, device encryption and relevant email or file-sharing settings. Sampling and evidence limits are documented.

Cloud, networks and applications

Review configuration, exposure, segmentation, logging and change-control evidence for the systems selected. Active exploitation, disruptive scans and production changes require a separately agreed testing or implementation scope.

Data protection and recovery

Examine data handling, backup coverage, recovery responsibilities and existing restore-test records. A configured backup job is not evidence that a business service can be restored within its required time. A new restoration exercise can be proposed separately.

People, suppliers and response readiness

Review supplier access and responsibilities, policy ownership, staff training records, escalation contacts and incident-response documentation. Identify where an external provider’s service description differs from the responsibilities your organization expects it to cover.

What the report needs to make clear

The proposed report separates observed evidence, management statements and items not tested. A missing record is an evidence gap; it should not be silently treated as either proof of failure or proof of effectiveness. Each finding should show the affected asset or process, review method, business consequence and recommended next step. AI can assist evidence organization, analysis and drafting within the agreed information-handling arrangements. Our team reviews its output, applies technical judgement and checks findings against the source evidence. Final deliverables are presented for your review and approval.

  • Executive summary: the decision, scope, material findings and limitations.
  • Evidence register: source, date, owner, sample and verification status.
  • Risk register: likelihood and impact rationale, existing controls, treatment choice and accountable owner.
  • Remediation roadmap: priorities, dependencies, expected effort and an agreed review point.
  • Handover: unresolved questions, management decisions and any follow-up verification proposed.

Illustrative finding: a leaver-access review lacks a documented system owner. The report would record which evidence was reviewed, which systems were excluded, the possible access risk and who must verify removal. It would not label every account compromised or claim that a policy document proves timely removal.

Audit, risk assessment and penetration testing

A control assessment reviews the selected controls and their evidence. A risk assessment considers plausible consequences and treatment priorities. A penetration test investigates exploitable paths under explicit rules of engagement. These can support one program, but their methods and outputs remain distinct.

Use compliance readiness consulting when the goal is implementation and preparation for an external assurance program. Use security awareness training when staff learning and reporting practices are the specific gap. Remediation or managed security can follow an assessment through a separate agreed scope.

Prepare for the scoping conversation

Bring the reason for the assessment, any requested framework or questionnaire, a high-level system inventory, relevant provider boundaries and the date the decision is needed. Do not send credentials or sensitive operational evidence through the general enquiry form. Appropriate access and evidence-transfer arrangements are agreed during onboarding.

Custom-scoped engagements; proposal after discovery. The proposal sets the assessment boundary, deliverables, access dependencies and schedule. Implementation, retesting and external attestation are included only when explicitly scoped. The report can inform procurement or insurance discussions; acceptance and commercial terms remain decisions for those third parties.

From findings to action

How the audit runs

Sequence and timing depend on the agreed scope, evidence and approvals.

  1. Define the decision Decision review

Identify why the report is needed and what an external requester expects.

  2. Agree the boundary Boundary approval

Document systems, exclusions, access, evidence and review method.

  3. Review and validate Evidence collection

Collect permitted evidence and clarify findings with designated owners.

  4. Prioritize treatment Risk workshop

Discuss business impact, dependencies and management decisions.

  5. Handover and next steps Report handover

Deliver the agreed report and identify any separately scoped verification.

Working with Canada Create has meant so much to me and my business, ProDerma Clinic. When you put your heart into caring for your clients, you want your website and online presence to reflect that same care. I’m so happy with the work Amir and his team have done to help me present my clinic and services with confidence.

They created a beautiful, professional website that brings together my treatments and makes it easy for visitors to learn about the clinic, explore their options, and book a consultation. Having a website I feel proud to share is a wonderful feeling. It gives people an introduction to ProDerma before they even walk through the door.

Their work has also included Google Business Profile optimization, helping me strengthen how my clinic appears on Google Search and Maps. For a local clinic in downtown Toronto, making it easier for people to find accurate information about my services, location, and booking options is incredibly valuable.

What stays with me most is the care and effort behind the work. I’m grateful to Amir and the Canada Create team for helping me build an online presence that reflects the business I’m working so hard to grow.

I would happily recommend Canada Create to other clinic owners and business owners looking for website design, Google Business Profile optimization, and thoughtful marketing guidance. Thank you for supporting ProDerma Clinic and for putting so much heart into your work!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Canada Create, and especially Amir Vincent, one of the owners. His personal involvement made all the difference.

As the owner of a boutique medical aesthetics practice, my business is very personal to me. I wanted a website that showed not just my services, but the philosophy, warmth and individualized care behind my practice. I had a very particular vision, and Canada Create brought it to life more beautifully than I imagined.

From day one, Amir was professional, enthusiastic and detail-oriented, and he took a real interest in understanding my business. He and his team treated the project as a partnership. They took the time to learn what makes my practice unique and how to communicate that to new clients.

The website is beautiful. It's elegant, welcoming and thoughtfully designed, from the overall look and photography to how the information is laid out. It feels authentic to my brand and makes exactly the impression I was hoping for.

They also arranged a professional photoshoot for my practice, which was a highlight. The photos add a personal touch that captures the personality of my business. That matters so much in an industry built on trust and connection.

I've been just as impressed by their technical knowledge. Canada Create manages my website analytics and helps me understand how the site is performing and how to grow my online presence over time. That ongoing support is invaluable. They understand a website has to do more than look good. It has to help build the business.

Their communication, patience and willingness to listen have been wonderful. They took my ideas seriously while bringing their own expertise and creative suggestions. I always felt valued as a person, not just another client. I've spent years building a practice that reflects my values, so I really appreciate people who take pride in their work, and I see that in Amir and his team.

I'm so proud of what we've created together and look forward to continuing to work with Canada Create as my practice grows. If you're considering a new website, a brand refresh or a stronger online presence, I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Amir, thank you for your guidance, dedication and care. And thank you to the whole Canada Create team for turning my vision into something so beautiful. A five-star experience!

Working with Canada Create and Amir Vincent has been an absolute game-changer. I came to them looking for help with social media strategy and creative edits, and they didn’t just deliver, they elevated everything. From the first call, Amir’s clarity, professionalism, and creative eye stood out. You can tell this team genuinely cares about brand quality and impact, not just ticking boxes.

They took my ideas, refined them with precision, and turned them into polished, scroll-stopping content that actually converts. Every edit felt intentional, every post had strategy behind it, and the communication was seamless. No ego, no fluff just pure execution and results.

What impressed me most was Amir’s leadership. He’s not just a CEO, he’s a creative visionary who pushes for excellence in every detail. He listens, adapts, and brings real insight to the table. It’s rare to find a partner who can merge design aesthetics, marketing psychology, and performance thinking like that.

If you’re serious about growing your brand, sharpening your content game, or leveling up your digital presence Canada Create is the team you want in your corner. Amir and his crew don’t play small; they build brands that command attention.

Define the assessment

What decision does your security report need to support?

Bring the requesting party’s requirements and a high-level system inventory. Custom-scoped engagements; proposal after discovery.

A report leadership and technical owners can use

Decision-led scope

Start with the investment, procurement or risk decision the report must support.

Evidence labels

Keep observations, management statements and untested areas distinguishable.

Documented sampling

State which systems and records were reviewed so readers understand the report limits.

Business-risk context

Explain consequences and dependencies rather than relying on a score alone.

Provider-boundary review

Compare relevant supplier responsibilities with the evidence your organization receives.

Separate active testing

An advisory review does not silently authorize exploitation, disruptive scans or changes.

Actionable treatment choices

Give leadership owners, dependencies and next steps to discuss when accepting or treating risk.

Transparent review role

Disclose an existing implementation role or potential conflict before the assessment begins.

Cyber security audit questions

What is a cyber security audit in this service?

It is an advisory assessment of selected security controls and evidence, with documented findings, limitations and a remediation roadmap.

Is this a SOC 2 audit or ISO certification?

No. Those require their own formal assessment arrangements. We can help identify the appropriate readiness work and external-assessor boundary.

How is a penetration test different?

A penetration test investigates exploitable paths under explicit rules of engagement. A control assessment reviews agreed controls and evidence. Active testing is separately scoped.

Will every system be reviewed?

Only the systems and evidence defined in the engagement. Sampling, exclusions and items not tested are recorded in the report.

What if evidence is missing?

The report records the evidence gap and its implications. A missing record is not silently treated as proof that a control works or that a compromise occurred.

Can the report support insurance or procurement?

It can help answer the specific questions supplied at scoping. Acceptance, insurance eligibility and commercial terms remain decisions for the requesting organization.

How much does an assessment cost?

Custom-scoped engagements; proposal after discovery. Systems, review depth, evidence availability and deliverables determine the scope.

How long will it take?

The schedule is agreed after discovery and depends on access, scope and evidence availability. There is no universal delivery duration.

Is remediation included?

Only if the proposal expressly includes it. Implementation and retesting have their own responsibilities and approval points.

Can you review our current IT provider?

A scoped review can examine relevant provider responsibilities and evidence. Existing delivery relationships and potential conflicts should be disclosed before work begins.
